A. David Lewis

With my background in Religious Studies and English Literature, I'm a full-time college educator along with being a national lecturer on comics studies. More recently, I've been spearheading some charitable and pro-social projects, from local protests to international aid to Syria. My life as a graphic novelist waned with the expansion of my family, but I've returned this year to writing the serial "Kismet, Man of Fate," the further adventures of the 1st Muslim superhero in U.S. comics. Along the way, I've co-edited several scholarly books (GRAVEN IMAGES: RELIGION IN COMIC BOOKS & GRAPHIC NOVELS, DIGITAL DEATH: MORTALITY AND BEYOND IN THE ONLINE AGE, etc.) and, among my work duties, become the Manager of Faculty & Student Online Engagement for my school.
