Trained in museum practice and coming originally from the financial & professional services sector, I am an art historian with interests broadly categorized within European and American art from the eighteenth century to the present day. I currently teach college courses that blend humanities and socials sciences, with an anchor in the history of art and intellectual history. As an instructor, I remain up to date with and am always looking for the most effective applications of the latest innovations in instructional design, LMS platforms, educational technology (especially digital humanities), and game-based learning. On the museum/gallery side of things, I have worked in every aspect of curatorial work and exhibition development, including grant writing and proposals. My object experience ranges from works on paper, to paintings, rare books, decorative arts, and sculpture.
