I'm a social anthropologist who teaches courses in museum studies and visual culture. My research interests focus on contemporary expressive culture and cultural heritage sites in Ethiopia and on the history and use of academic collections. In addition to teaching and research, I also serve as Curator of the Permanent Collection at Wheaton College where I'm a faculty member in the Department of Art/Art History.
